  Went on a Tuesday at 5:20pm with no reservation. They weren't overbooked at all, and the service was excellent. The food is always top notch and professionally prepared. Most of their dishes feature seafood or mushrooms (like crab meat with this or that, etc), but there are plenty of spectacular dishes without. Their desserts are also amazing, especially the ones prepared right at the table. In fact, any of the flambé dishes are fun to watch right at the table. The prices are among the highest in Medicine Hat, but the quality of the food is among the best in all of Southern Alberta. Any reviews you read that are negative are _definitely_ anomalies. My wife and I had their mid-prices entrees, a starter, a glass of wine, and desserts; the final bill was around $150, plus tips. It's best to dress well, but it's not strictly required. You'll feel quite out of place in sweatpants.

  I would rate it as the best restaurant in Medicine Hat, not the cheapest though, but sometimes quality comes at the price. Incredible service, delicious food, wonderful settings and good company of friends to share it with - what else would you need?!?
